2020 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks

Must read

The 2020 Ford bronco sport outer banks is available in two trim levels, the Big Bend and the Outer Banks. The Outer Banks trim adds a number of extras to the exterior and interior of the truck. It has a blacked-out grille and Bronco emblem, a Shadow Black roof, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The interior features leather trim.

The Bronco Sport rides on a similar platform as the compact Escape crossover, and all-wheel drive is standard. It features an eight-speed automatic transmission, a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, and an upgraded cooling system. The base model can tow between two thousand pounds, depending on the engine and transmission choices. The Ford Bronco Sport is also equipped with a navigation system, and the Badlands trim adds a voice-activated touchscreen.

While the Ford Bronco Sport is capable of handling a range of terrain, it’s not particularly impressive in off-road scenarios. It’s lacking in key features like a locking differential, rock-crawl and mud/ruts drive modes, and skidplates. If you’re looking for an off-road vehicle, the Outer Banks trim is not the best choice.

The bronco sport outer banks trim also includes heated leather-wrapped steering wheels and seats. Other notable features include an eight-way power driver’s seat and six-way power-adjustable front seats. Power windows also have one-touch up-and-down functionality. The Outer Banks trim also comes with the same alarm system as the Big Bend trim, and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System.

The Ford Bronco Sport has been designed with a variety of users in mind. Prices start at under $28,000 for the base model. The Badlands and Big Bend variants add more off-road orientation. The Outer Banks variant adds heated leather seats, upgraded audio, and a power moonroof. It also replaces rubber flooring with carpet and has removable plastic-coated panels for the doors and rear seats.

The base trim of the Ford Bronco Sport costs $28,165. The Big Bend trim costs $29,980. The Badlands trim, on the other hand, costs $34,590. This includes destination fees and optional extras. The base trim is well equipped with safety and convenience features and will still handle some rough terrain.

As with all Ford Broncos, the bronco sport outer banks retains the rugged styling of its larger cousin, but scales it down to a more compact SUV. The 2017 Bronco Sport lineup includes four trim levels and four engine options. The base engine is an 181 horsepower turbo-3. The 2.0-liter turbo-4 is optional. All-wheel drive is standard. If you need it, there is also an GOAT mode dial.
