The blockbuster entertainment awards winners are one of the biggest public award shows in the entertainment industry. It honors the best in film, music, and video games. The winners were chosen by a fan base, which cast 22 million votes. Some of the nominees were Ricky Martin, Sheryl Crow, and Fleetwood Mac. The awards show is hosted by Warren Beatty.
The awards featured 23 categories devoted to music. Aguilera took home the award for Favorite Single, while Backstreet Boys took home Favorite Group – Pop. The show also honored outstanding performances in acting. The Backstreet Boys were named Favorite Group of the Year and “Millennium” was named Favorite CD.
