In the Fall 2006, Towers hall housed triples. The triples project put three residents in two-man rooms. Towers did not have enough furniture for the third resident, so he was relocated to a different part of campus. This plan didn’t last long, and the third resident had to find another place to live. When space became available, he moved. At this point, triples are considered the best dorms for students on a budget.

Library

The G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons is connected to the Library at Georgia Tech. The board of the library helps manage the Commons. Meetings are typically held on Thursdays at 11 a.m., and include lunch. The Board is comprised of student and faculty representatives. The arena seats about 8,600 people, and features luxury club seating with a view of the court. The lower bowl of seats contains 6,935 seats, while the balcony level has 1,665 seats. Both the bowl and balcony levels feature concessions and rest rooms. A new stairway provides access to the balcony level seating.

West Campus is a neighborhood surrounding the university. It is home to several athletic venues for the Yellow Jackets, the school’s intercollegiate athletic teams. The stadium is located on the West Campus, adjacent to the CRC Roe Stamps Fields. The stadium is the home of the Georgia Tech map Rugby team.
