The new location for walk-up COVID-19 rapid testing has been opened in the parking lot of the Delaware County Wellness Center in Yeadon. Testing is available between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Testing is not offered on Saturdays or Sundays. There are no appointments required, but the service is free. It Offers Rapid and PCR Tests
The Personic health testing facility opened its doors to the public on March 16. It provides free RT-PCR and rapid antigen testing. The company guarantees results within 24 to 48 hours. Since its opening, traffic on Maple Avenue has been backed up and appointments are needed.
The Delaware County Health Department has partnered with local healthcare provider Personic to provide free COVID-19 testing and RT-PCR. PCR results are usually available in under 24 hours. The tests are performed at Personic’s own lab. The testing facility is located at 125 Chester Ave. in Yeadon.
